Russia Begins Analysis of Downed Jet’s Flight Data Recorder

Russian authorities on Friday publicly opened the flight data recorder of the fighter jet which was controversially shot down by Turkey last month.

The Russian Su 24 fighter jet was downed on Nov 24 after Turkey said it violated its airspace along the Syrian border. Moscow insisted the plane had not strayed into Turkish airspace.
